I met front man Davey Bales when I was DJing at Portland's Star Bar a couple years back & you know that thing when you meet people who you've never met but they almost automatically fit into your life's group of characters? That's the best & having gotten familiar with the Wraith it makes total sense. Muscular, Street Punk informed Goth is a rare bird & the Wraith deliver it in a way that makes me flash back to riding the bus as a kid in San Francisco in the late 80s when Punk Was Dead, it was always raining & only weird crossover Junkies with Alien Sex Fiend, Misfits, Cramps, Bauhaus, Swans & the like painted on their leathers were left in the city & there was no scene & it was only us against the world. I'm just going to put this out there - If The Wraith & Rotten UK & maybe like the Wax Idols toured together it would be amazing.
