GROGNARDIA BLOG POST ABOUT LOWLIFE

I started reading the Grognardia blog back in 2008. It was not long after James started. I was looking into what was going on in the role playing sphere at that time, because I did illustrations for Labyrinth Lord, which I was attracted to on many levels but I think my primary one was that it was published by Goblinoid Games. James was nice enough to pull me back into the circle by doing a little write-up on his blog. Have a look. It's a good blog & I think he gets that what was being tried to reintroduce to role playing through the OSR is that original spirit of freedom & openness that the original role playing game had (& that I've seen be notably absent from OSR zealots today who have brought a slavish orthodoxy to the sphere.).
